Dr. Mahua Datta’s journey reflects a unique blend of academic excellence, corporate experience, and entrepreneurial passion. A seasoned marketing trainer and motivational speaker, she brings over 20 years of professional experience spanning leading corporates such as Standard Chartered and HDFC, as well as renowned academic institutions including Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, EIILM, ICFAI Business School, and Unitedworld School of Business.

Dr. Datta completed her graduation in Economics and her MBM in Marketing Management from the University of Calcutta. She later earned her PhD in Retail Marketing Management and has published several research papers in reputed journals and conferences. Her research work has received recognition and best paper awards from prestigious institutions such as IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad. With more than 15 years of experience as a corporate trainer, she has guided senior management professionals in areas like marketing strategy, digital marketing, consumer behaviour, and content strategy.

Expanding her professional journey beyond academia, Dr. Datta co-founded DEMASS Chocolates along with Dr. Debraj Datta. Through their flagship brand DevilYou, they have introduced handcrafted chocolates made with natural fruits, nuts, and spices, focusing on taste, wellness, and affordability while minimising artificial ingredients.

A member of the Bengal Business Council and an avid traveller, Dr. Datta continues to inspire through her work. She was recently invited to Bradley University, USA, where she was appreciated as an international conference speaker and entrepreneur.
