 The First Generation Entrepreneurs Club (FGEC) Hosts Grand Launch Event for Its Advisory Board

The First Generation Entrepreneurs Club (FGEC) hosted a landmark event on April 30, 2025, at Five Mad Men, Kolkata, to officially launch its Advisory Board — a collective of seasoned professionals and industry stalwarts who will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision of the club. The event was a celebration of resilience, collaboration, and a deep commitment to building a support system for entrepreneurs who are starting from scratch, without the backing of legacy businesses.

FGEC is a unique ecosystem built by and for first-generation entrepreneurs — bold, visionary individuals who are transforming ideas into impact. Founded by Sandip Joradar, Manas Mandal, and Sourav Joradar, the club is dedicated to fostering mentorship, knowledge exchange, and peer support across India’s diverse entrepreneurial landscape.

Speaking at the event, the founders shared their vision:
"We’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of starting without a safety net. This club was born out of that journey — to ensure that those who dare to dream today will not have to walk alone tomorrow. We are building a community where courage meets guidance."

The newly launched Advisory Board includes a dynamic group of influential professionals who bring years of industry insight and leadership experience. Their role will be to mentor emerging entrepreneurs, shape FGEC’s long-term roadmap, and ensure a culture of excellence and inclusivity. Members of the Advisory Board are:
Indranil Dey, Suraj Juneja, Debashis Sen, Anirban Aditya, Suresh Sethiya, Shaleni Biswas, Ratan Jhawar, and Arijit Bhattacharyya.

The Executive Team, which will handle FGEC’s operations, programming, and grassroots implementation, consists of Gourav Banerjee, Sakeed Tharad, and Mou Sarkar — each bringing executional energy and passion to the movement.

The event featured inspiring keynote speeches, an engaging panel discussion on the topic “Opportunities and Obstacles for First-Generation Entrepreneurs”, and a high-energy networking session that sparked collaboration among founders, investors, and mentors. FGEC also unveiled a future-facing roadmap that outlines its upcoming workshops, resource initiatives, community chapters, and national outreach plans.
